BEDA (Binge Eating Disorder Association)

Binge Eating Disorder Assocation (BEDA) was founded to help those who have binge eating disorder, their friends and family, and those who treat the disorder.
BEDA provides individuals who suffer from binge eating disorder with the recognition and resources they deserve to begin a safe journey toward a healthy recovery. BEDA also serves as a resource for treatment providers to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat the disorder.
By establishing strong connections among members and sister organizations, BEDAs goal is to give everyone access to the tools they need to live with, treat, and, ultimately, prevent the disorder.

Eating Disorders Anonymous

A 12 step self-help fellowship. This is a brand new 12 step program and really needs support and new meetings started. It’s a great program for anorexics and bulimics.

Provides referrals to eating disorder practitioners, treatment facilities, and support groups. Referrals to eating disorder specialists are offered at no charge as a community service. In addition, EDReferral.com offers general information to the public about the treatment and prevention of eating disorders and promotes social attitudes that enhance a healthy body image and self-esteem.
