Flexible Eating Disorder Outpatient Treatment & Support Groups
Eating disorder outpatient treatment at Castlewood includes a strong support group system. Each of our support groups are open to the public, and anyone may attend that is struggling with an eating disorder, or has a loved one who is struggling. There is no need to sign-up for support group sessions. Please wait in the lobby area just prior to group session start time, and participants will be escorted to our comfortable, private support group suite.Castlewood offers two primary types of support group options:
- Family support groups
- Client support groups (for those with an eating disorder)
Our family support group is offered on the 4th Wednesday of each month, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost for our family support group is $10 per family (not per person) for each group session. While family members are encouraged to consistently attend sessions, the reason for our flexible sessions are based on our understanding of family obligations and commitments that may preclude attending each month.
Our client eating disorder support groups will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost for the client support group is $15 per individual for each group session. Again, these are walk-in support groups. There is no need to sign up in advance.
Formal therapy sessions, arranged by appointment and provided by licensed therapists will also be available in our outpatient services office in Fenton. We will offer both individual and family therapy as part of our outpatient eating disorder treatment services. The fee for individual therapy is $70/session, and the cost for family/marital therapy is $75/session.
All individual and group therapy sessions are facilitated by Susan Wolfe, one of Castlewood’s expert Licensed Professional Counselors. Susan has extensive experience in eating disorders, trauma based disorders, anxiety and depression.
