Will My Insurance Cover the Cost of Treatment?

Castlewood Treatment Center is not licensed as a Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare provider.

Castlewood Treatment Center is licensed as a Residential Treatment Center, not an Inpatient Treatment Center. Your insurance policy must have benefits for Residential Treatment Centers in order for Castlewood to be covered. As a courtesy to prospective patients our admission staff will, with your consent, contact your insurance carrier to obtain a quote of insurance benefits. We will share this information with you to help you make an educated decision about your treatment options and what your insurance will cover.

Benefits are not the only important detail in regards to insurance coverage. The insurance company must authorize the client to utilize benefits. The client must meet certain medical necessity criteria in order to obtain coverage. Our intake counselors and utilization review clinicians will coordinate pre-authorization, insurance coverage and payment for all treatment authorized by your insurance company. Our utilization review clinicians will work tirelessly to obtain continued coverage throughout your stay at Castlewood by completing on going reviews with your insurance case manager. Castlewood’s business office will bill your insurance and communicate any difficulties to the client and/ or their family.

We recommend you consult with your insurance company directly prior to admission to determine detailed coverage and benefit information. Our intake counselors will also complete an independent insurance verification.
