Castlewood Holiday Intensive: Will you be Just Coping or Celebrating this Season?

The parties and family gatherings this time of the year may cause you to be concerned about your ability to cope with your eating disorder recovery. It is not unusual to feel this way. You can actively join in any level of care during the Castlewood Holiday Intensives offered from November to January. For those participating in the day-treatment program, you can live in transitional housing as part of the all-inclusive price. Men, women and adolescents (age 16 and up) can take advantage of this opportunity. Surround yourself with those who understand your eating disorder and will extend sound support. If you want to do a residential program while you take a break; and return home to an IOP or PHP program the staff at Castlewood will take care of it.
Choose to register in one of the Holiday Intensives programs and you will have something to celebrate. You will gain confidence with your personal coping strategy. You'll be able to focus on the positive aspects of this year’s holidays as your meal plans and eating strategies will be carefully designed. The duration and care blueprint is individualized for each participant. It's even appropriate for college students’ home for winter break. If they are active in recovery while away at college, enrolling in a day treatment program will give you a local network of support. Participants can also choose to take part in this beneficial holiday program at any of Castlewood’s three national facilities. You can attend right here in St. Louis, or at our Alabama and California locations.
