Castlewood’s Compassionate Attitude Apparent

Ellis, who had the opportunity to spend a week at Castlewood Treatment Center’s St. Louis location, is particularly impressed with the organization’s motto: Compassion, Respect, Empowerment. “I was able to see this attitude at work in the employees as well as the clients,” said Ellis. “After having the chance to observe group therapy and meet with the clinical team, I came to realize and appreciate the uniqueness of Castlewood. Everyone involved is passionate about the comprehensive treatment of the clients and goes above and beyond to create an individualized treatment approach for each and every client. The staff is committed to treating the whole person with a collaborative and empowering approach. They work with each individual to take a look at the underlying issues, such as trauma or anxiety.” Ellis is excited about her new position with Castlewood Treatment Centers. “I am already inspired by the work occurring at our treatment centers and cannot wait to share this innovative approach with providers across the country. I look forward to collaborating with the Castlewood team in order to change the face of eating disorder treatment and affect positive change within the community.” Keep the conversation going by commenting here, and then sharing your personal affirmations on Instagram using hashtag #WhatIsRecovery.
