Castlewood’s First Annual Golf Tournament

Castlewood Treatment Center is pleased to announce that it will hold its first ever golf tournament later this year, scheduled for October 6, 2014. The event will take place at the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri, and will raise funds for treatment scholarships for Project Heal. Project Heal is a nonprofit organization that provides much-needed grants for individuals with eating disorders. The organization focuses its efforts on those that do not have the resources to pay for treatment and who might not otherwise get the help they need. Project Heal not only awards scholarships for eating disorder treatment, but the staff also speak at schools, colleges, legislative offices, and community health organizations to increase ED awareness. The therapists and staff of Castlewood are looking forward to the golf tournament because it will allow us to provide financial assistance to those who suffer from eating disorders. For each dollar raised at the tournament, Castlewood will donate a dollar. Increasing access to treatment has always been a goal of Castlewood. Eating disorders affect more than 30 million people in the United States, and these disorders have some of the highest mortality rates of all mental illnesses. It is imperative that we find ways to help people get the lifesaving treatment they need. Our CEO, Nancy Albus, encourages all of Castlewood's friends and family to get involved with the golf tournament. "Your support of this event will enable the partnership of Project Heal and Castlewood Treatment Center to transform lives from suffering to healing," she said. "We hope we can count on your participation and support in our golf tournament this year by playing in the event and considering a sponsorship. Together, we can provide treatment for suffering individuals and their families." To learn more about the golf tournament, or to register, contact Madison Luna at 636-386-6611 or visit this website .
