Staff Spotlight: Annalee Plumb, LPC, NCC, CADC

Annalee Plumb has been appointed the new Director of Admissions and Utilization Review for Castlewood Treatment Centers and 1-DSCN0601Monarch Cove Treatment Center. Nancy Albus, Castlewood CEO shared "intake and UR are a talented group of professionals who will now be able to benefit from Annalee’s experience and leadership." Annalee has worked for Castlewood since October 2010 as a utilization review specialist. She also facilitates individual consults and group therapy for clients with co-occurring chemical dependency diagnoses at our St. Louis locations. “I am excited about this new position at Castlewood and the opportunity to facilitate a collaborative relationship between Intake and Utilization Review Staff,” shared Annalee. “As Castlewood continues to grow and expand our services my goal is to maintain the integrity of the intimate recovery setting that was created 13 years ago,” said Annalee. Annalee shared "I love working at Castlewood because I appreciate the sanctuary like setting where clients and staff work collaboratively and we are all part of the recovery process alongside the client.” “I enjoy working with clients with addictions and eating disorders because recovery is possible. With many other mental illnesses, treatment is about maintenance, with eating disorders it is possible to more fully recover and live a joyous life,” shared Annalee. Prior to working at Castlewood, Annalee worked at Bridgeway Behavioral Health as the director of the Intensive Outpatient Program in Warren County and Drug Court Treatment Liaison. Annalee obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling, both from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri. Annalee is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs of Addiction Counselor, a Medication Assisted Recovery Specialist and a Clinical Supervisor for CADC.
