August 12, 2010 by Deanna James, LPC, CEDS in Announcements We are THRILLED to announce that the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)Â just awarded Castlewood Treatment Center a 3 year full accreditation for all service levels of care (Residential, Partial Hospitalization, Day Treatment, and IOP). This achievement is an indication of the our organizationâ€™s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of individuals receiving services from Castlewood.
Any organization seeking CARF accreditation for a behavioral health program must demonstrate the following through policy and practice:
Partnership with the persons served in the development of treatment services and individualized program goals.
Service design and delivery that focus on the needs of the persons served.
A service delivery process that uses a multi-disciplinary approach.
Program accessibility and assignment of qualified staff members to provide behavioral health services.
A system of accountability that evaluates the outcomes achieved by the persons served as a measure of the success of the behavioral health programs.
Choosing Castlewood Treatment Center as a CARF accredited treatment program means we have passed an in-depth review by CARF specialists of our services, staff, as well as policies and procedures. These reviews occur every 3 years and ensure that Castlewood Treatment Center is complying with all CARF guidelines and continuing to provide exceptional treatment services.
